At the Marsh in the Meadow (SLEEPING BEAR PRESS)
Saturday • March 12 • 2pm
Tailor-made for curious kids who love splashing in puddles and asking questions, At the Marsh in the Meadow introduces children to the dozens of plant and animal species living in marshes around the world with a fun and engaging cumulative folk rhyme. From "the mucky mud on the bottom of the marsh" to "the big eagle that swoops from up high," author and former National Parks Service employee Jeanie Mebane and illustrator Gerald Guerlais bring the interconnected ecosystem to life with bouncy rhymes and vibrant artwork. As the book comes out, we're excited to share it with nature explorers young and old at this book launch party with Mebane.
