Created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, the Zentangle® Method is a fun, easy-to-learn and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. More than just doodling, the meditative art practice has gained recent popularity and generated praise for its ability to promote creativity, mindfulness, and an increased sense of well-being.
This spring, we're excited to host artist Rose Reeves as she leads two workshops on how to practice the Zentangle Method. Join us to learn the Zentangle method for the first time or practice it with others and save 10% on all Zentangle books and supplies purchased during the event.

Rose Reeves is a mom, potter, sculptor, painter and photographer who happens to also be an Urban Studies major at UW Tacoma. She became involved in Zentangle when she purchased a book from University Book Store and has been going crazy with it ever since! Rose has taught Zentangle to public school art classes, while at picnics at the park and at University Book Store. Her daughter also enjoys Zentangling very much and they "tangle" on anything that can hold a pen mark! (Boots, lamp shades, flower pots, clothing, mirrors and wallpaper!)
