Sally Ride: America's First Woman in Space

In Lynn Sherr's definitive biography of American icon Sally Ride, the former ABC reporter and Ride's personal friend draws from public history—as well as Ride's own records, journals, letters and exclusive interviews with Ride's friends, family, partner and colleagues—to reveal a fascinating woman at the center of some of the greatest social and scientific developments of her lifetime. For an intimate look into the life of a woman who may have been the first woman in space, but who was also so much more, join us for a discussion and signing with Sherr that won't soon be forgotten.

Tickets are $5 and available at
