Performance & Book Signing

Another Autumn

In this special performance, two artists collaborate to make poetry come to life through music. Come enjoy the evening as local poet Yvonne Higgins Leach reads her poems while Burke Mulvany, a Bellingham-based musician, plays music he created for them. Released in June, Higgins Leach's debut volume of poetry, Another Autumn, is full of intimate poems about family, love, loss, community, work, separation and connection, each poem inviting the reader to consider his or her own life more thoughtfully.

Yvonne Higgins Leach and Burke Mulvany Yvonne Higgins Leach is a native of Washington state. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Washington State University in 1983 and a Master of Fine Arts from Eastern Washington University in 1986.
