A genuinely good old woman touches many lives.
Meet elderly Dr. Morayo de Silva, half-Nigerian citizen of San Francisco, who values her books above everything and has a kind word for everyone. A good author can reveal a persons character in their interactions during a normal day. Sarah Ladipo Manyika does that expertly in her very short novel with the very long title. And then she adds a few surprises.
Told through multiple voices, its a slight but very touching story of age and time and kindness, allowing you to enjoy the company with a woman any sane person would want as their best friend.
