Reading & Book Signing

Space Dumplins

Known for his award-winning graphic novels Blankets and Habibi, Craig Thompson is going where he never has before in his first full-color graphic novel for all ages. Blasting off into a galaxy filled with strange beings and fueled by the waste of whales, Thompson's Space Dumplins tells the story of a plucky young girl who sets out to rescue her dad after he goes missing. Put together quirky aliens, awesome spaceships, and poop jokes with witty social satire, environmental commentary, and universal themes of family, friendship, and loyalty, and its one-of-a-kind adventure already has both children and adults waiting with anticipation. As Thompson introduces the wonderfully weird graphic novel to fans of all ages, were excited to welcome him for this special reading and signing.
