So, Anyway ... (RANDOM HOUSE)
Sunday • November 16 • 7pm
University Temple United Methodist Church The Sanctuary, 1415 NE 43rd Street
A comedic genius whose influence has reached across generations, John Cleese will be forever known for his unique blend of irreverent humor, physical comedy, and madcap buffoonery played completely straight. In his new memoir, Cleese shares his journey from small town boy and aspiring lawyer to comedy pioneer and legend, weaving together stories and digressions into a fascinating primer on what's funny and why that's as entertaining as any of his shows. In celebration of his book's release, Cleese will join us for a conversation about his book, his life, and his comedy with Seattle radio personality Steve Scher.
Tickets are $28 and available from Brown Paper Tickets. Each ticket admits up to two people and includes a signed copy of So, Anyway...
JOHN CLEESE, the star of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers and an entertainment legend, is also a lecturer on creativity and is currently professor-at-large at Cornell University. He currently spends most of his time in England.
