YA Survival Tour

Surviving isn't easy. Good thing you dont have to do it alone. Join YA authors Mary Cronk Farrell, Maureen McQuerry, and Stephen Wallenfels for an afternoon of stories about resilience, courage, adversity, and triumph.

· In Standing Up Against Hate, Farrell writes about the women of color who served in the military during World War II, the obstacles they faced within the military, and how they refused to back down.
· McQuerry's new coming of age novel, Between Before and After follows 14 year old Molly, who worries about school, friends, her parents' failing marriage, and her mother's growing depression.
· Deadfall follows twin brothers on the run Ty and Cory Bic. When they discover a seemingly abandoned car in a ravine along a remote mountain road, they are pulled into something darker and more sinister than their nightmares.
