In On the Eyeball Floor, Connolly gives us two dozen stories, spanning multiples worlds, genres, and formats and bringing to life the unique voices of characters ranging from a rogue GPS to a shapeshifting bear and transcending cyborgs. In Seven Wonders of a Once and Future World, Yoachim unfurls a collection of dark and beautiful fiction featuring time travel, alien invasions, and Japanese mermaids and exploring the vast expanse of human nature against countless vividly imagined backdrops. As the captivating new books hit shelves, we're excited to celebrate their release at this reading, signing, and discussion with Connolly and Yoachim.
Tina Connolly lives with her family in Portland, Oregon, in a house that came with a dragon in the basement and blackberry vines in the attic. Her stories have appeared all over, including in "Strange Horizons", "Lightspeed", and "Beneath" "Ceaseless Skies".
Caroline M. Yoachim lives in Seattle and loves cold cloudy weather. Her fiction has appeared in Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov's, Lightspeed, Clarkesworld, and Daily Science Fiction, among other places. She is a 2006 graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop, and her 2010 novelette "Stone Wall Truth" was nominated for a Nebula Award. Caroline's debut short story collection is coming out with Fairwood Press in 2016.
